Founded by professional guitarist and instructor Alex Raykin, Raykin Music emerged from a passion for music and a commitment to education. With over two decades of teaching experience, Alex envisioned a space where students could embark on their musical journey or take it to the next level.

Meet OUR Founder

Alex raykin

Alex Raykin is a dynamic force in the world of music. His formal studies are in music and audio engineering. He dedicated countless hours immersing himself in the complexities of sound, as well as the intricacies of musician health, and the multifaceted world of the music business. Alex’s insatiable curiosity has also led him to explore a diverse array of fields over the past two decades, including psychology, behavior modification, nutrition, time management, philosophy and more—making him a uniquely well-rounded instructor.

As guitarist and co-founder of the touring progressive metal band Infinite Spectrum, Alex blends technical mastery with creative passion. On his podcast Thriving Rockstar, he interviews seasoned artists on topics ranging from music entrepreneurship, to health and lifestyle. He also has an active YouTube channel where he does covers, reviews gear, teaches and more.

His teaching philosophy centers on empowering students of all ages and skill levels, whether they’re strumming their first chord or refining advanced techniques. Known for his patience, charisma, and ability to break down complex musical concepts, Alex excels at guiding students toward their goals—helping them master technique, theory, and performance while igniting their love for music.
